Moving is a pain!

House will be up on the market in 3 weeks!
Spent the past weekend cleaning, decluttering.
What a pain!!!

And its hard not to cook either. Keeping everything spotless!
We've been eating out a lot...UGH.

Weight still steady. No gain, yet no loss!

168!!!!!

Hi,

I know its been a while since my last post!
Just an update: I'm below 200 and BELOW 170!!!

Its funny because I haven't been crazy but just been really conscious of what I've been eating.
Trying really just to be more HEALTHY is the key. Not skipping meals, eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, but really cutting out all the crap (for the most part) and running 3 miles consistently at least 3-4 times a week. And wow, the pounds have peeled off!!!!

My kids have noticed a difference too! They have been on the journey as well, but I'm very conscious of them NOT to be obsessed about the weight. My girl's little buddy came and spent the night at a sleepover, and she said something that was terribly wrong and that something a 7 yr old SHOULD NOT say...She said, and I quote "I can't eat birthday cake cuz that has a lot of calories and I already ate too much at lunch"...WTF?!!! They are kids, they really shouldnt be obsessed about calorie counting and should indulge in treats too! The key is to really have a well balanced meal and to keep them active. I never thought about my weight when I was a kid! Kids should just enjoy their childhood, not skip meals, and eat healthy! More veggies, fruits, and protein and good grains and an active lifestyle! My vow is to be a good role model for my kids. I want them to have a really healthy outlook on food.

Anyhow, my mom was saying my body is just trying to go back to my "natural" weight...So, i guess thats a good thing! I still have 60 pounds go lose to get to 110, and this month will be really crazy. We are trying to sell our house, and I'm leaving for Tokyo in a month for vacation with the husband!

Stay tuned! I hope I can just maintain this new lifestyle. Even if I don't lose anymore weight, I think its great that I'm embracing my new healthiness. =)

Trying to figure out my end goal

Trying to figure out what my goal weight should be.
Back in the day, I was 110. This was my wedding weight, before marriage, and before 3 kids!
Just trying to figure out a healthy weight for me. Hmm..???

update on the weight...Um, still holding steady. I need to start losing some more pounds!

Tomorrow, I plan to run my 3 mile run and eat cleaner (no more girl scout cookies!)

YIKES...too much celebrating

Its nice to hit a milestone, but I think I went a little nuts celebrating my success.

I gained a pound. EEEKS!

VICTORY! (a small one)

I did it. I accomplished my goal!!!!

I dropped all the weight I wanted to drop by this past weekend!

Now, the kicker is...lets see if I can lose more...

Mini goal = Lose another 2 pounds by end of this week...

We had a good celebratory dinner this past weekend and I still got to eat my cake too!

Menu for today:
Oatmeal
Granola bar
sliver of Starbucks lemon pound cake (so bad, but so good)
Chicken Salad
Tonight: broccoli and some tuna casserole

I am planning to work out again today!
