So, yesterday was OK. I stuck pretty much to what I ate, except, I had some dried fruit and nuts.
I made Chocolate Chip Biscotti for a friend today. It is DIVINE.
The bad thing is I had 3 bites of my own biscotti! And its only 830am!
BUT...I plan to run 3 miles this afternoon and hopefully not indulge in anything else
Let me tell you folks that I do make a mean biscotti. heehee.
Here's whats on Anna's menu today
Oatmeal/Blueberries
Leftover Broccoli & slice of tri tip
Orange
Veggies/Protein for dinner

OMG. I so did not eat anything on my planned menu!
CRAP!!!! But I really did try to be healthy. The hubby and I tried a new recipe - fried chicken, but dont worry- its not fried! Its a bit like shake'n'bake, but we made our own seasoning.
I did manage to drag my husband to run with me! 2.5 miles. We ran slow, but hey, at least we ran!
Also! I learned how to post pics! yippee! I find that blogs with pictures are much more interesting than text. Didnt take any pics yet, but here's a pic that we took from a wedding last month. The cupcakes were quite tasty.
I'll be blogging in NYC. We plan to go to lots of nice restaurants, the challenge will be portion control.
Girl, when I first started I could barely run a mile. You are totally rocking this! Maybe you should sign up for a race at some point, a half marathon maybe? That will help keep your training in check!
ReplyDelete2.5 miles is great! when i go to the gym, i only do 1.5... at 3 mph (12.5% grade). i think regular exercise is great! and 2.5 miles is a lot to start. i'm still not there!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!!! Trust me, i take a really really LONG time to run that much. Actually, its not even running more like a slow slow jog!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd...the half marathon...that sounds like a great idea! it will take me much more discipline though!!!
